	Georgia Tech, Partners Plan Med Device Prototyping Center, Genoneweb, May 28, 2009. Four of Georgia's top research and healthcare institutions are launching the first initiative in a broader collective effort to spin out medical device companies. The initiative allows prototype development of medical devices focused on cardiology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.

	Altea Inks Agreement With Eli Lilly and Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Atlanta, Ga., April 1, 2009. Companies will commercialize Altea Therapeutics proprietary PassPort® Transdermal Delivery System in Technology Enterprise Park. Altea Therapeutics, supported by Lilly and Amylin, recently completed a Phase 1 clinical study of the exenatide transdermal patch in people with type 2 diabetes.
	Device Tracks Heart Disease, KOLN Television News, Lincoln, Nebraska, Feb 24, 2009. CardioMems device in clinical trials looking to prevent heart disease patients from fluid builds up. Doctors implant the device between the heart and lungs of the patient which automatically tracks fluid pressure.

	Kemira consolidates North American R&D in Technology Enterprise Park, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Sep 24, 2008. The Finnish company, which develops technologies for pulp and paper, water treatment and other industries, currently has six locations in Georgia and more than 100 worldwide. The company will move 85 jobs into 37,000 SF in Midtown Atlanta.

	Atlanta's CardioMEMS Receives $2M Grant, March 20, 2008, LocalTechWire. With a $2 million infusion, Atlanta-based CardioMEMS has plans to occupy over 40,000 square feet at Atlanta’s Technology Enterprise Park, next to Georgia Tech. The money, awarded by the Georgia Life Sciences Facilities Fund, will purchase laboratory equipment to develop wireless technology for medical devices.
	Georgia Tech and St. Joseph’s Announce Unique Collaboration, March 14, 2008, Atlanta, GA. Georgia Tech and St. Joseph’s Translational Research Institute (SJTRI) have agreed to an $18.5 million relocation of the SJTRI research facilities to Technology Enterprise Park and collaboration between physicians and researchers at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Georgia Tech.
	New Technology Enterprise Park Key to Atlanta’s Bioscience Future, Global Atlanta, November 5, 2007. The ribbon cutting for the first of four planned buildings in Technology Enterprise Park off of North Avenue Oct. 15 drew a delegation of representatives from Ireland’s bioscience sector as well as a large group of officials from the city and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tucker, Ga.-based Altea Therapeutics' new headquarters will be at the Technology Enterprise Park, which, as first reported by Atlanta Business Chronicle, is set to be built on North Avenue near the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta.

The 11-acre "Technology Enterprise Park" is being developed by Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures Inc., an organization working in cooperation with Georgia Tech.
